The Story of Caleb Ash

The Witness
Debut Album
Alternative Folk
Genre
Caleb Ash began writing songs as a way to process the things he struggled to say out loud. Drawing influence from alternative rock, folk songwriting, and cinematic storytelling, he developed a sound rooted in emotional honesty rather than perfection.
Much of The Witness was written late at night during periods of exhaustion, transition, and self-reflection. The songs explore themes of memory, survival, fractured relationships, and the quiet moments that define a person’s life.
Rather than chasing trends, Caleb focuses on creating records that feel lived-in and human. Every lyric, layered guitar, and imperfect vocal take is intentional—capturing emotion as it happened instead of polishing it away.
